Dr. Ron Bihovsky, founder of Key Synthesis LLC, has over 25 years of research experience in organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry
research in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, as well as academia. He has worked on numerous classes of small molecules
ranging from heterocyles to peptide mimetics.
Prior to working in industry, Dr. Bihovsky conducted research on the total synthesis
of natural products as a professor of organic chemistry at SUNY Stony Brook.
He has authored 50 scientific publications, and is an
inventor on 16 US patents and numerous international patents.
Dr. Bihovsky earned a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University
of California, Berkeley, and was an NIH postdoctoral fellow at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Dr. Bihovsky is an active member
of
Chemical Consultants Network, where he currently serves as Treasurer and Chairman Elect.
